Panlab, S.L.U. Warranty Policy

Panlab provides a minimum of two year warranty on all non-consumable products based on date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. At its option, Panlab will repair or replace the unit if it is found to be defective as to workmanship or materials. This warranty does not extend to damage resulting from misuse, neglect or abuse, normal wear and tear, or accident. Items defaced by property markers, engraved property numbers and other user applied marketing or physical damage cannot be accepted in exchange, or returned for credit. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser.

IN NO EVENT SHALL PANLAB-HARVARD APPARATUS BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE, OR OF ANY OTHER NATURE. Some states do not allow this limitation on an implied warranty, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Goods will not be accepted for return unless an RMA (returned materials authorization) number has been issued. You can find the return form here. 

The customer is responsible for shipping charges. Please allow a reasonable period of time for completion of repairs or replacement. If the unit is replaced, the replacement unit is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period dating from the purchase of the original device. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Coulbourn Instruments Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty: Coulbourn Instruments (CI) warrants all products sold under the CI name against defects in material, workmanship & performance, not withstanding calibration, to the original using purchaser for a period of one (1) years on Passive and Electronic Products and on Accessories and Electromechanical Products, from the date of shipment from CI. CI warrants that its products will meet our published electronic & mechanical specification (subject to change without notice). CI will repair or replace at it's option, a product that is found to be defective during the warranty. This warranty does not extend to damage resulting from misuse, neglect or abuse, normal wear and tear, or accident. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser.

All return shipments must include a Return Material Authorization Number (RMA#), obtainable from CI and must be sent freight prepaid by the sender. If CI determines that a product was returned with authorization but found to be in working order as per published specifications, CI maintains the right to charge an inspection fee. Items defaced by property markers, engraved property numbers and other user applied marketing or physical damage cannot be accepted in exchange, or returned for credit. All such returns are subject to a restocking fee. 

This warranty is nontransferable. This warranty does not apply to any defects or damages resulting from alteration, modification, neglect, misuse, usage of an improper power source, damage in transportation, abuse or any cause other than the normal use of the equipment. This warranty does not apply to products resold by CI that are manufactured by other companies. This warranty shall not apply to appearance items such as plating on handles, dials or metal treatments on panels or chassis. No warranty or claim is made by CI regarding the efficacy of any product for any particular application. 

Except for the limited warranty stated above, CI disclaims any & all other warranties expressed or implied, oral or written, including any implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

In no event, shall CI be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use of its products, including without limitation any direct, incidental or consequential damages, any damages for loss of profit, business interruption, loss of information or any pecuniary loss even if CI has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Coulbourn Instruments be liable for any special or consequential damages.
